Denver Asset Building Coalition (DABC)
The Denver
Asset Building Coalition Mission:
To
provide free tax
preparation, financial education, and financial services through
accessible sites in Denver to help the underserved build for the
future and become economically stable.
The
DABC operates free financial and tax preparation
sites in the City and County of
Denver, from the last week of January through October every year. Through these free sites, the
underserved public will be able to have their tax
returns prepared free of charge, open free bank
accounts, and receive free financial services and
education to encourage them to save money.
Exempt Status and Charitable
Information:
The
Denver Asset Building Coalition was officially formed on
July 15, 2003. The
DABC is
a nonprofit charitable organization recognized
under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.
Donations to the DABC are tax
deductible to the
fullest extent of the law.
