Brendan Grainger
Brendan Grainger Memorial Fund
Online Memoriam

On July 15, 2009, the DABC lost one of our most special volunteers and friends.  May you rest in peace Brendan, and may your family find comfort in knowing how much you will be missed by the Denver low-income families you served and the volunteers of the DABC you helped assist on a regular basis.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, by request of his family, if you would like to honor Brendan with a donation, the DABC has set up a memorial fund in his name.

Checks can be written to the "DABC" or you may donate online using the following PayPal donate button:

If you prefer to donate by cash or check, please indicate that your donation is for the "Brendan Grainger Memorial Fund" and mail donations to:

Denver Asset Building Coalition (DABC)
Attn:  Brendan Grainger Memorial Fund
2980 Curtis Street
Denver, CO 80205

The Denver Asset Building Coalition never charges for our programs or services.  We do, however, incur operating costs to provide our programs.  If you would like to make a donation to the DABC, we will use your gift to purchase site supplies, equipment and software, and marketing materials.  We will also use your donation to honor our volunteers for their hard work and dedication every April at our annual volunteer recognition ceremony.

What is the value of the services the DABC provides to the community?
The average tax return costs a customer over $175 in preparation fees alone.
This does not include additional fees for quick refunds, and state tax return preparation.

If you appreciate the services of the DABC, please consider making a small contribution so we may defray the costs of our operations.  The average
donation received from the community by the DABC is $55.

The DABC is a nonprofit charitable organization recognized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.  Donations to the DABC are tax deductible to the
extent of the law.
