Free Tax Prep Services:
The DABC will prepare and e-file basic 2020 Federal and State income tax returns for FREE, but are limited to families making less than $55,000 and Single filers making less than $35,000. Priority will be given to Colorado residents.
2021 Schedule:
The DABC will reopen for tax preparation services starting on February 5, 2021.
Services will be first come, first served (drop-off only, car-side) at our site parking lot.
After completing an intake form and short interview, you will leave your tax documents with us for tax preparation. You will return on a specified date (1 to 2 weeks later) to review and sign your completed tax return, at which time it will be e-filed.
The DABC will not schedule appointments for drop-off or pick-up services.

Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC):
If you owe money to the IRS, received a notice from the IRS, or have a tax issue that is not related to tax preparation, our LITC (Low Income Taxpayer Clinic) is available to assist. For more information on LITC services click here .

Transcripts: If you need W-2 transcripts go to https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript. IRS transcripts do not show state withholding, so contact the Colorado Department of Revenue at (303) 238-7378 to request state W-2s so that we can also file your state taxes.
Accepted Tax Forms: Please check what forms we can prepare. Tax returns for years 2016 and older must be mailed in.
Self-Employed Taxpayers: We require you to complete our Self-Employment Tax Organizer before receiving services. We CANNOT HELP individuals with business expenses over $25,000, Depreciation, Home Office, or a Net Loss.
